New to Footloose? Please email Bob [email protected] to discuss the best boat for you.
Please note: The online events registration system is currently offline. Please email [email protected] to register for events.
Print and fill out the registration and liability/media forms. Bring the forms with you to the event. If you have a caregiver/companion sailing with you, they will need to fill out the forms and bring them as well.
We ask $15.00 for a one-day membership to Footloose. Membership entitles you and up to 1-2 companions to space(s) on the boat. The modest membership fee supports the program, but we don’t want money to be a barrier. If you have an EBT card, the membership fee is only $5.00.
On your chosen day, check in at the event, hand in the printed forms, get your life jacket, and get your escort to the boat. Arrive at least 1/2 hour before your sailing time so that there is time for loading the boat.
Volunteers
Footloose is 100% volunteer run, and you help with activities on shore, on the docks, and on the boats. You don’t have to know how to sail to volunteer.
Come sailing with Footloose and leave your disability at the dock!
Training Manual
Footloose now has an online training manual. You can find it at https://footloosedisabledsailing.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/Footloose-Training-Manual.pdf
